Two Step Stamping Technique Page and Card

This can be the next addition to your Technique Album, if you have one, or to your repertoire of stamping.  It's always nice to learn a new technique, or revisit an "old friend" sometimes adding a new twist.  This page is shared with us this month by Jacque  at Craft Project Central.

I just love the Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper Stack!  And I love the simple elegance of this card,  Thanks for sharing it with us Jacque!

And Thank You for visiting!

You'll Flip for this Cottage Wall Flip Album!

Krista is a rather new member of our Pacific Stampers Family and we are so fortunate to have the pleasure of welcoming such a vivacious and talented person!  We're all always in stitches listening to her talk with her hands at our group "meetings". :)  She is also a great asset to the Craft Project Central Design Team.  This is Krista's latest creation...a Flip Album featuring Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper.

It's so pretty and the butterfly adds a elegant touch!  Thank you Krista for sharing this with us!

Thank you for stopping by!  I'll be sharing more projects so please visit again soon!

Honor Our Mothers

Mother's Day is just around the corner and I thought I would dedicate my April Craft Project Central Project to Moms.  I am also doing a version of this project with some very cute and talented girl scouts coming up real soon.  I'll have to take some photos of them working on their projects and share them with you!  I know their moms will be so happy to receive a handmade gift from their daughters...I know I am.  Mari already brought home a creatively and beautifully wrapped Mother's Day present that she made in art class--with a handmade card that is watercolored.  I'm very happy with the card and the wrapping!  What could possibly be all wrapped up?  It's a good thing I'm away or I might not be able to wait til Mother's Day to open it! :)

Anyway, back to my project.  Here is a photo of my Mother's Day Album in a Tin,  The belly band is not only decorative, the fabric flower is actually a pin that Mom can wear, attach to her hand bag, headband...  It's two gifts in one! :)

Please visit us at Craft Project Central to see many more very creative projects.  Under the "News" heading there are free projects for you to try!  I'd love to hear what you think!

Thanks for stopping by!

Some Great New Projects!

Hello!  There are some really great projects that recently posted on Craft Project Central.  Just to give you a little sneak peek!
First this very chic box designed by Krista.  She is so talented!  This is the bonus project for April...Our Thank You for referring a friend. :)

Next is this very cute Baby Album designed by Naoko.  She is so talented!

And now for the latest creation by Brenda, affectionately know as the "Punch Queen".  She is so talented!  A punch art bear box and matching cards!  So adorable!

Jacque designed this project...Tea Party Tag Tote...Very elegant.  She is so talented!

I just love this Birthday Card Organizer box designed by Zeva.  She is so talented!

Oh and here's Michelle's design...She is so talented!  This is a free project!  WOWEEE!  All you have to do is go to Craft Project Central and click on "News".  There will be a drop down menu with "Free Projects"  Just a sampling of what you can get when you subscribe.  Please call me if you have any questions...

I know I said the same thing for all the ladies...because that's the truth!  They ARE all so talented, creative and great ladies!  I am so happy to have such great friends!  Stampers are just the best people, don't you think? :)

Thanks for stopping by!  I REALLY have to finish prepping for our BIG recipe book class tomorrow.  Not to mention finish cooking! Yikes!  I  hope everything comes out ok.  I'm making Strawberry Salad--you know, Spinach, Pecans, Strawberries-of course and a red wine vinegar...dressing.  Ok, hopefully a no brainer...  How can anyone mess up salad?  I better not speak too soon.  I'm also making Kahlua Cake--I've made this before, so hopefully no worries.  I'm also making S'Mores Cupcakes.  Now this is a first...Shhhh!  I found it on Bakerella's blog.  Just love her blog! She's the cupcake pop lady.  Anyway,  it sounds delish by looking at the ingredients!  I sure hope it comes out ok...Actually, if it does or doesn't, I may not know the difference and since I never had it before...I guess it really doesn't matter, huh?  I'll let you know.  We are going to have some "onolicious" food tomorrow!  Probably the best thing about our Recipe book class...well, the book is pretty special too!  Ok, so I have to go...Once again, thanks for stopping by!

New Color Collections!!

Oh my! Did you think I fell off the face of the earth?! Maybe so...I spent a week in Anaheim with our two girls and the Iolani Dance Team...Had a fabulous time...Tell you more about that later...Right now I just have to share a Stampin' Up! announcement with you! I am so excited to embrace this change and move forward with YOU on Stampin' Up!s exciting Color Renovation!

This is huge and it's WONDERFUL! All of these changes will take place in the new catalog beginning July 1st. This means you have plenty of time to stock up on your favorite colors that are leaving.  This is soooooo exciting since color is a major ingredient in our ability to create and be creative! We also need to stay up-to-date with the trends in color to keep both our artwork and business fresh.

The new Color Collections are: Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles. There will be 40 core colors (rather than our current 48 + neutrals). This is GREAT news as it means we will have more accessories and "things" to match these colors!

From these 40 colors, we are getting 5 brand new colors: Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso.

Crumb Cake is a "new" color, but really it's Kraft IN AN INK PAD!!!! Yipee!

AND they are bringing back 10 of the retired In Colors (How awesome is that?!):  Baja Breeze, Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette(yay!), Rich Razzleberry, Riding Hood Red, River Rock, Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango and Wild Wasabi. As a demonstrator we will be able to preorder and enjoy these colors in June (feel free to email me if you have any questions about becoming an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator).

The current colors we will say a fond farewell to are: Glorious Green, Green Galore, Gable Green, Yo Yo Yellow, Only Orange, Pink Passion, Pixie Pink, Orchid Opulence, Lovely Lilac, Brilliant Blue, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Summer Sun, Bordering Blue, Brocade Blue, Ballet Blue, Taken with Teal, Handsome Hunter, Pale Plum, Blush Blossom, Apricot Appeal, Barely Banana, Mellow Moss, Sage Shadow, Almost Amethyst, Lavender Lace, Basic Brown and Going Gray.

As we say good-bye to these wonderful colors we will be welcoming a refreshing, updated color palette come July 1st!!

Ok, so let's enjoy these next few months working with the colors that are leaving, enjoying them, stocking up on the favorites and embracing this new change that will be so exciting! I hope you're as thrilled as I am! Love to hear your thoughts!
Stampin' Up! has many many great things in the works for not only their Demonstrators but you, our customers, to help with this Color Renovation. More info to come....

If you would like to order any of the retiring colors...I am happy to help you with that!  If you would like to join our team, now is a great time!
From April 1-May 31, join Stampin' Up! as a demonstrator and receive two FREE technique DVDs (2007-2008 and 2008-2009 Workshop Wow DVDs).

Please contact me for details.
