New Clear-Mount Rubber Stamps by Stampin' Up!

Over the past few years, there has been enormous demand for a line of repositionable clear-mount rubber stamps. Starting with stamps in the 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and the 2010 Sale-A-Bration Brochure,(available January 5th) Stampin' Up! now offers our exclusive stamp art in both traditional wood-mount, and the new clear-mount option.

Nine different sizes of clear blocks available individually or as a discounted bundle.

Blocks have ergonomic grooves on all four sides for easy grip and traditional wood-mount feel.

Stamps and blocks are durable and easy to clean with your Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist.

Optional image labels on stamp backs let you decide if you want to see the image through the block or not.

Tight die-cutting for easy image positioning.

Large clear blocks can be used to create collages or spell words with alphabet sets.

Stamps store easily in standard, DVD-type cases with artwork on front and spine, making organization easy.

Please visit my website to view the catalog(s) or leave a comment and I will send you one! :)

New Punch Design!! Yipee!

Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog available January 5th, and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches!

  • Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog
  • Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners

My Digital Studio Christmas Card

Seasons Greetings!

I am so excited to share our Christmas card for 2009.  I created it using "My Digital Studio".  It was so quick and easy!  I did make a little boo boo in making it 6 x 6", but I really liked these proportions and didn't want to change it...  Now I have to hunt for envelopes it will fit in and pay a little extra postage to mail them out.  (uh-oh...)  Hee, hee, what we do for the love of stamping/scrapping! :p

Oh my!  They look so grown up!  This is their Dance Team photo.

Wow! This was a great post!  It combines family and stamping! :)

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Stampin'!

Peppermint Patties Anyone?

I made some of these cute Peppermint Patty sets after seeing it here.  They are cute and simple to make.  I was also thinking about all the different possibilities--this idea can be adapted to any occasion!

If you would like to place an order to make these--great for co-workers, teachers, friends...please visit my Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Website by clicking here and you will be redirected.

Soft and Merry

This card was one of the prototypes for my Christmas Stamp-A Stack.  The gals made 5 each of 3different cards.  I ended up designing all the cards around the Sleigh Bells ribbon.  See this post for Stamp-A-Stack cards:  http://sunnystampinsmiles.blogspot.com/2009/11/christmas-is-in-air.html

My inspiration for this card was a Christmas present.  Using Whisper White card stock for the base and Soft Suede card stock for the top layer and the accent, I used the Merry Embosslit (116820) to make the "gift tag".  I just love embosslits!  Cut and emboss in one step!  Lickidee-split!  Just like that! :)  The snowflake on the tag is from Best Wishes & More (111602) and is "inked up" with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (116806) using a Sponge dauber (102892).  Isn't it purtee?  I random stamped the top layer with the same snowflake in Versamark (102283) and tied some White Organza Ribbon (114319) around to give it the "present" look.  Then I added the tag with some Gold Elastic cord (109867).  If you would like to order any/all of the items to make this simple and elegant card, please click here and you be directed to my Stampin' Up! demonstrator website.

Thank you for visiting!  Happy Stampin'!

Healthy Habits for Kindergartners

In early November, Kurt and I were included in Healthy Habits Day for Leah's class.  Of course, he was asked to talk about oral health...   We had a great time with the children.  Here's Kurt demonstrating good brushing technique to the children.  They are wearing pillow cases to simulate teeth and he is now brushing the backs of the teeth--which we all should do in addition to the front, top and cleaning in between with floss.  The children just love this part and their giggles are contagious!

I just had to share the adorable Thank You note we received...

Isn't it just precious?!  And of course I have to share with you a close up of Leah's face...

We enjoy sharing dental health with the children every year.

Ok, that's two posts in one day and no stamping!

Oh wait, I have to share a photo of Mari celebrating her 8th birthday with a Birthday Spam Musubi at  Gyotaku--her favorite restaurant and the place she said she'd like to work at along with the Hello Kitty store...(I wonder why...)

Another photo of her sporting her new eyewear.

When did our little Marizipan get so grown up!?

Thanks for letting me share!  Please check back for some stamping...

Until then,
jane

All I Want For Christmas...

Just had to share this photo of Leah the morning after losing her upper front tooth - - #E as we call it in dental lingo... :)  As you can see, she has that "just-woke-up-hair-do".  Anyway, I'm a bit saddened by how fast our little ones are growing up! Sniffle, sniffle...  The other one is pretty loose, I'm wondering if it'll hang on til after the 25th.   Hmmm we'll see... Here's wishing you all a "Merry Chrith-mith"!

Christmas is in the air!

Hello!  Today I had the good fortune of spending the morning with some wonderful ladies at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack.  They made 15 cards-5 each of 3 designs and took home cards with envelopes and the spool of ribbon featured in today's designs. It was so nice to meet with new and cherished friends to spend time stamping!  The morning started off not so good when I burned my hand while baking brownies.  Then, when I was setting up the table, I dropped it on my toe while trying to baby my burnt fingers. :(  Anyway, like a little kid, I soon forgot about my owee as soon as the stamping started!

Thought I'd share the cards with you:

Here they are one-by-one...The first one is a gatefold card featuring one of Stampin' p's  most popular stamps and Decor Element, Dasher.  It is one of the under $10 stamps on the last page of the Catalog and Idea Book.  Notice the shimmeriness?  (Is that a real word?)  Anyway, I spritzed some of our new Champagne Shimmer paint on after I stamped the Dasher image and it makes the card stock so shimmery.  It must be a real word. :)

Here is the card open.  The salutation is from the stamp set
"Four the Holidays" in the Holiday Mini:

Next is a card inspired by a photo in the Holiday mini.  The Idea Book & Catalog and Mini Catalogs that come out throughout the year are filled with fabulous ideas, samples and supply lists for the projects are available.  If you ever see anything you like and want to know what products were used to make it, I will make sure to get that information to you--just send me an e-mail or give me a call!  I can also help you order anything you may not have and/or teach you how to use something you do have. ;)

Grateful Greetings is the stamp set used for this card.
"Christmas Greetings" in Chocolate Chip ink is stamped inside .
I really like the variety of holiday greetings in this set.  There are greetings for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day and a thankful thoughts stamp which can be used anytime:

The Delightful Decorations Stamp Set and Ornament Punch
coordinate beautifully to make this simple but elegant card
a great card to send to friends and family!
In this age of  e-mails, twittering, and texting,
everyone will appreciate a hand-stamped creation . :)

Thanks again ladies for cheering me up!
We also had some yummy noodles--Thanks, Joni!
And those "dangerous brownies"! eek!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Holiday Stamp Camp Projects

Hello, as promised, here are the projects from our 4th Annual Holiday Stamp Camp. We have some very creative designers and these projects are awesome! Don't you think?

Second, a must have for 2010!
Naoko's project, a Hand-Stamped desk calendar:

Tags, tags and more tags--in a cute holder!  Shelby's project--Great for a gift or to use yourself (or "save") :)

Sonya's project was the most challenging and the most rewarding...especially if you are the recipient of this
Pop-Up Christmas Tree gift card holder:

If you would like to order supplies to make any of these fantastic projects, please visit my Stampin' Up website:
or send me an e-mail

Oh, I almost forgot, here are the cute M & M trays made by Lorinne:

Look at that detail...for M & Ms!  She also roller wheeled some cute trash bags...  Even the trash bags are stamped!  Please come by and visit often.  I will keep you informed in case you want to attend one of our group meetings.   We have a lot of fun and some great swaps...  I will post those soon.  Right now I need to finish prepping for the Maui/Oahu Stamp-A-Stack happening this weekend.  Guests will make 15 cards w/envelopes, 5 each of 3 designs.  All cards feature the Sleigh Bells ribbon and each guest will get to take home their spool of ribbon when they are done.

Ok, I better go...Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Holidays from Pacific Stampers!

We had a great time with close to 90 of our wonderful stampin' friends this past Sunday at our 4th Annual Holiday Stamp Camp!  Brenda out did herself again with this super cute welcome sign:

I just love the button candies!

She also made the cutest favors!

There's a reason why we refer to her as the Punch Queen!
Brenda does wonders with punch art!

I'll save the projects for tomorrow...don't want to give you everything at once!  Please come by and visit again...and leave a comment,
I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Kitty-fied Sunny Day Album

Hello!

I just had to share this with you...We attended a Hello Kitty themed baby's 1st birthday party this past Sunday.  Baby's mommy is very, hmmm, how should I politely say it...obsessive-compulsive-over- achieving?  A girl after my own heart!  The invitations were works of art!  Understanding how much effort goes into making projects like what she made really makes me appreciate all the work/time that went into it.  The invitations, favor boxes, centerpieces, decorations, children activities-cupcake and Hello Kitty Cookie decorating, sweet shoppe, goodie bags were all coordinating with a Pink and Brown Hello Kitty Cupcake theme!  It was awesome! I just wanted to share pictures of the card and Hello Kitty-fied Sunny Day album I made for the Birthday Girl. Here's the card:

And here's the album - Front cover and first page:

2nd and 3rd pages:

4th and 5th pages:

6th and 7th pages:

8th and 9th pages:

10th and 11th pages:

12th and 13th pages:

14th and 15th pages:

16th and 17th pages

18th and 19th pages:

And finally, the 20th page:

I used the Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' kit and added Hello Kitty die cuts.  I think Hello Kitty looks great with the colors of this kit:  Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Pink Passion and Old Olive.  DD1 and DD2 are asking, "Where's ours?"...Uh, yes, it's coming! :)  We made this album in a previous class...I am happy to do it again, just let me know!

Thanks for lookin'!  Happy Stampin'!
